CDCP

Our dental office is proud to welcome patients who are eligible for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).
The CDCP is a federal government program designed to help make dental care more affordable for eligible Canadian residents who do not have access to private dental insurance. Eligible patients may receive coverage for a range of preventive and restorative dental services, including dental examinations, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions and removable dentures, subject to the plan’s guidelines, limitations and eligibility requirements.
To qualify, patients must meet the CDCP eligibility requirements, including having no access to private dental insurance, having filed their Canadian tax return, having an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000, and being a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
Coverage and patient costs can vary depending on the treatment, the patient’s CDCP coverage level and the fees established under the plan. Some treatments may also require preauthorization before they are covered.
